Strategic Procurement

The Strategic part of our procurement team provide MCIPS qualified (Membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing Supply) and experienced staff to undertake strategic procurement activities including complex sourcing, OJEU tendering, supplier rationalisation, stakeholder and project management and classification of supplier spend.  Our team collaborate and utilise state of the art e-tendering systems to deliver an efficient tendering process.

Operational Procurement

Our Operational team source and process client requests daily through working with end users to understand and deliver their individual requirements.  The team currently process over 25,000 requisitions a year.  We also offer a catalogue management service that maintains products on a wide range of client e-procurement systems to ensure efficiency in the clients ordering experience.

Full Category Management

Full category management encompasses our Strategic Procurement and Operational Procurement service to provide a comprehensive management service for our client spend through effective classification and management.

The Category Management approach focuses on delivering value to our clients through non-pay spend.  We categorise non-pay spend into the applicable market standard, for example, NHS E-Class.  Each category is then developed to deliver the optimum sourcing strategy.  This approach ensures we take a holistic view of our clients non-pay spend in order to maximise value for money and other value added benefits.  In this way we facilitate supplier rationalisation, annual savings targets, improved supplier relationships, client stakeholder engagement and qualified procurement guidance.
