Our History

Following a competitive tender process at the end of 2011 Serco was appointed to take on all aspects of managing the Anglia Support Partnership (ASP). Formed in 2002, the partnership delivers a comprehensive range of shared services including procurement, payroll and pensions, ICT services, estates and property management, finance and accounting, occupational health, recruitment services, catering, risk management and primary care support services to NHS partners and customers across the East of England and the UK.

The shared services partnership with Serco went live in April 2012. From the outset, our focus has always been on taking steps to maximise service efficiencies in order to deliver guaranteed savings that will help protect front line services of NHS partners and customers.  We now deliver over 60 support services contracts to a number of NHS Trusts with a further 50 organisations able to access a new four-year framework agreement allowing them to access additional services.  In addition, every effort is being made to develop our operation through innovation, investment in new sustainable service capabilities and a commitment to deliver consistently high service standards at all times and in all areas.
